Terms of Service

Last updated July 21, 2026

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of Momento, an event photo-sharing service (“Momento,” “we,” “us”). By using Momento, you agree to these Terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the service.

The service

Momento lets a host create an event, invite guests by QR code or link, collect photos that remain private until the host develops the roll, and then share a combined gallery. Features and limits may change as the product evolves.

Accounts and eligibility

Hosting requires signing in with a supported provider. Guests may join anonymously. You're responsible for activity under your account and for keeping your sign-in secure. You must be old enough to form a binding contract in your region to host an event.

Your content

You retain ownership of the photos and content you contribute. You grant Momento a limited license to store, process, and display that content solely to operate the service for you and the members of your event (for example, generating thumbnails and serving the gallery after reveal). You are responsible for the content you upload and for having the rights to share it.

Acceptable use

You agree not to use Momento to:

  • Upload or share content that is illegal, infringing, or violates others' privacy or rights;
  • Photograph people who have asked not to be photographed, or share images without appropriate consent;
  • Harass, abuse, or harm others, or upload malware;
  • Attempt to bypass access controls, capacity limits, or the reveal gate; or
  • Disrupt or reverse-engineer the service.

Hosts are responsible for their events and for how their guests use them.

Purchases and refunds

Momento offers a free tier and paid guest-capacity upgrades purchased per event. Purchases apply to the specific event for which they were bought and are not transferable account-wide entitlements. Prices are shown at checkout and processed by our payment providers. For refund requests, contact lw.kelwin@gmail.com; refunds are handled in accordance with applicable law and the relevant app store or payment-processor policies.

Service availability

We work to keep Momento available and reliable, but we provide it “as is” without warranties of any kind. We don't guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation, and we're not responsible for lost photos beyond what applicable law requires — please keep your own copies of anything important.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Momento is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, or for lost data or profits, arising from your use of the service. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us for the event giving rise to the claim.

Termination

You may stop using Momento at any time and delete your events. We may suspend or terminate access that violates these Terms or that we reasonably believe is harmful to others or the service.

Changes

We may update these Terms as the product changes. We'll update the “last updated” date above, and continued use after changes means you accept the revised Terms.
